Fiona Williams is a visual artist born and based in Naarm Melbourne (Australia). She has a BFA (Hons) and MFA (research) from Monash University and has undertaken residencies at The Banff Centre in Canada, RM in Aotearoa New Zealand, and Sointula Art Shed in Canada.
Williams makes images intuitively and in response to her environment – moving between painting, drawing, photography, and video – often utilising the process of making and configuring images to draw attention to subtle aspects of pictorial space and differing registers of time.
